Ms. Barbara Ridley is a dedicated community leader and lifelong resident of Prince George County with a strong history of service and advocacy. After retiring from a 30-year career as a healthcare assistant, she has continued her commitment to supporting others through active community engagement and volunteerism.
Ms. Ridley is a proud member of the Petersburg Triad and has volunteered in the community for more than 20 years, consistently working to support families, seniors, and youth.
She is deeply passionate about strengthening families and helping young people experience the healing and growth that comes from time spent outdoors. Ms. Ridley strongly believes that exposure to nature builds confidence, life skills, and positive life direction, and she is committed to helping ensure youth have opportunities to explore and connect with the natural world.

Ms. Pouncey brings 20 years of military administrative experience to our team and is passionate about our mission. She is dedicated to introducing youth and families to the great outdoors in a fun and educational. Her commitment to fostering a love for nature ensures that our programs are both engaging and impactful. We are excited to have her expertise guiding our efforts!

Mr. Linwood brings over 15 years of nonprofit expertise and a strong commitment to mental health awareness for both youth and adults. He also provides valuable assistance for veteran services, ensuring that those who have served our country receive the support they need. His passion for nature as a form of outdoor therapy inspires those around him to embrace the healing power of the great outdoors. With a wealth of experience, he is dedicated to fostering a supportive environment for personal growth and well-being.

Altheia Tyler, a proud U.S. veteran and the visionary Founder of the Women In Nature (WIN) program, brings more than 20 years of Early Childhood Education experience and a lifelong love for the outdoors from nature exploring to fishing to hunting to her mission. Guided by her passion for healing, empowerment, and adventure, Altheia creates meaningful opportunities for youth and families to reconnect with nature in safe, supportive, and transformative ways.
Whether she’s leading a therapeutic trail walk, introducing families to their first fishing trip, or helping young girls discover confidence through outdoor skills, Altheia believes every moment in nature holds the power to restore, inspire, and uplift. Her leadership reflects her commitment to service, community, and opening doors for others to experience the freedom and peace the outdoors provides.

Sidney D. Tyler is a dedicated youth mentor and educator with over 25 years of community experience. Passionate about teaching essential skills for self-sufficiency, leads engaging workshops and mentorship programs in Fishing, Archery, Hunting, and Camping. By empowering youth and community members, Sidney fosters independence and creates lasting change. With strong belief that providing the right tools enables everyone to thrive, Sidney is committed to contributing to a brighter future for all.
