The "BRIDGE" Outdoor Mentoring
The Bridge Outdoor Mentoring Program serves historically misrepresented young men in under-resourced communities by providing access to outdoor education, therapeutic experiences, and positive mentorship. Designed for youth ages 9–17, the program meets monthly to deliver consistent, trauma-informed support that promotes confidence, emotional well-being, leadership development, and life skills.

Through hands-on learning and nature-based activities, participants develop practical skills, emotional resilience, and confidence. Young boys will engage in archery, angling (fishing), survival skills, gardening, lawncare and equipment maintenance, and basic auto maintenance. Each session is rooted in therapeutic principles that promote focus, discipline, problem-solving, and personal responsibility.

By blending outdoor adventure with mentorship and life-skills training, The Bridge Outdoor Mentoring Program helps young boys discover their strengths, build healthy coping skills, and connect with the natural world—all within a supportive and empowering community.
